Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee laboratory operations at our Fort Lauderdale facility on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on supervisory role that sits at the intersection of compliance, quality, and assay execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our laboratory operates in full accordance with CLIA regulations and Florida DOH requirements, while contributing directly to assay workflows and supporting our ongoing LDT validation programme. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations in compliance with CLIA and applicable Florida regulatory requirements Perform and oversee PCR and NGS-based molecular assays, ensuring technical accuracy and reproducibility Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, QC/QA protocols, and quality documentation Support LDT validation activities including precision, reproducibility, linearity, and stability studies Ensure proper sample handling, chain of custody, and documentation throughout the testing workflow Contribute to

inspection readiness and corrective action processes Liaise with scientific leadership on assay development and process improvement initiatives Train and mentor junior laboratory staff as the team grows Requirements ABB or ASCP board certification (MLS, MT, or equivalent) Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a CLIA-certified high-complexity laboratory Hands-on experience with PCR-based molecular assays and NGS platforms (Illumina preferred) Solid working knowledge of CLIA regulations, QC/QA systems, and LDT validation frameworks Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and organisational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing environment Preferred Experience with COLA accreditation processes Familiarity with proteomics, immunoassay, or multiplex protein profiling platforms Prior experience in a CRO or translational research setting
