The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embryology and assisted reproductive technologies (ART), with a proven track record in clinical and laboratory settings. As a Senior Embryologist, who is seeking to advance into a leadership role or a lab supervisor seeking a dynamic opportunity, you will play a crucial role in our fertility treatment processes, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced ART procedures, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo biopsy, and cryopreservation. Conduct detailed assessments of oocytes, sperm, and embryos. Manage the daily operations of the embryology laboratory, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Oversee and mentor junior embryologists and laboratory technicians. Collaborate with the medical team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all laboratory procedures and patient data. Participate in the continuous improvement of laboratory protocols and practices. Stay updated on the latest advancements in embryology and reproductive medicine.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Reproductive Science, Minimum of 3 years of experience in an embryology laboratory, with extensive experience in IVF and ART procedures. Certification (TS) by a recognized professional body (e.g., ABB) is highly desirable. Must be willing to apply for TS as soon as possible if currently does not have a TS. Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques used in embryology. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
