    • Role Overview
    • As a Supervisor - Lab Facility, you will lead laboratory operations, staff performance, and compliance efforts while ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and continuous operational improvement.
    • Key responsibilities include:
    • + Overseeing laboratory staff and daily departmental operations + Hiring, onboarding, and scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage + Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members for growth and development + Ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing and result reporting + Supporting staff competency, training, and validation processes + Troubleshooting issues related to testing, equipment, and specimen handling + Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness + Enforcing laboratory safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment + Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality + Assisting with expense processing and departmental operations + Supporting leadership priorities and performing additional duties as assigned •Qualifications•Education•
    Required:
    • + Bachelor's degree in Biological Science OR a related Clinical Science field
    • Experience
    • Required:
    • + Four (4) years of clinical laboratory or related experience
    • Licensure / Certification
    • Required:
    • + State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License
