Job Description

DOT Drug Testing Lab Supervisor Overview :
Lead and ensure DOT workplace drug testing operations comply with 49 CFR Part 40, manage a team, and uphold quality, safety, and client service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, SOPs, and audits. Manage QA/QC, instrument maintenance, and result review. Oversee daily workflows, staffing, inventory, and safety programs. Hire, train, and develop laboratory staff; maintain a culture of accuracy. Act as client liaison for testing methods, turnaround times, and reporting. Produce DOT-compliant reports, CoAs, and audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Life Sciences or related field; relevant certifications (CLIA/CAP as applicable); is preferred. 5 years in a supervisory role in drug testing or toxicology. Experience with DOT workflows, chain-of-custody, LIMS, and reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Working Environment Full-time in a clinical/toxicology lab; occasional extended hours/on-call as needed.
