Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Phlebotomy/Laboratory Supervisor to provide daily operational leadership for phlebotomy, laboratory assistants, and outreach collection services across hospital, outpatient, and outreach locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise staff, staffing schedules, workflows, training, competencies, and performance. Oversee specimen collection, labeling, processing, registration, order activation, and transport. Ensure specimen integrity, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. Monitor productivity, turnaround times, customer service, and quality improvement initiatives. Manage supplies, equipment, and operational readiness. Collaborate with laboratory leadership, nursing, providers, clinics, and outreach clients. Investigate workflow issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements. Support outreach operations, courier coordination, and service recovery. Assist with policies, procedures, staff education, and regulatory readiness.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED - Required BA/AS in Biological or Chemical Science preferred 3+ years of laboratory experience in phlebotomy, specimen processing, laboratory assisting, or related functions Previous lead/supervisory experience National Phlebotomy or Laboratory Assistant Certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Laboratory Information System and Microsoft Office experience preferred Valid driver's license may be required for outreach responsibilities

$2,800.00 per week
