Job Summary:
Functions as Flow Cytometry Supervisor whos primary function is to oversee technical staff in the Flow Laboratory. This supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the laboratory while ensuring a safe working environment and monitoring utilization of Universal Precautions by all staff. This supervisor will also look for opportunities to enhance staff professional development and maintain continuous improvement for patient care services.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Master's degree in one of the chemical, physical or biological sciences, two years of Clinical laboratory experience to include 2 years of supervisory experience OR NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, a minimum of four years of Clinical Laboratory experience to include 2 years of supervisory experience. Specific visual requirements include use of both eyes, depth perception, and ability to distinguish colors and shades of colors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree preferred.
