About the Role Under the general direction of Chief Clinical Operations Officer, the Manager is responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of services to ensure that quality health care is delivered. Responsibilities include creating a dynamic patient-centered environment, managing, and developing teams with hands-on laboratory duties. This position will assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Monitors departmental budgets and regulatory compliance. Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Medical Technology, Biological Science, or related field. MT/MLS Certification required (ASCP, AMT, or

AAB. ASCP

is preferred) A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience highly desired. Why Tulsa?
