You will drive continuous improvement in lab processes, mentor technical staff, and manage essential quality management systems to support operational excellence. Responsibilities Direct daily laboratory activities, including chemical and physical analysis of raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance. Develop, document, and certify analytical test procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy and repeatability. Manage the plant's quality management system, including ISO and NSF compliance, internal audits, and corrective action tracking. Lead process improvement initiatives and troubleshooting efforts to optimize laboratory efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage inventory, production planning, and customer specification updates. Provide technical training and performance oversight for laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols. Investigate out-of-specification results and maintain detailed documentation for quality assurance reporting. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field. 3-5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or a related industrial environment. Strong leadership abilities with experience in mentoring or supervising technical teams. Proficiency in analytical instrumentation, calibration, and troubleshooting. Advanced attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
