Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Local / Traveller Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team in Arcata, CA 95518. This is a 13-week assignment with guaranteed full-time hours. Ideal candidates will have experience providing high-quality care in a long-term care or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens. Conduct testing in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank/Immunohematology, Coagulation, Serology, and Urinalysis. Perform manual, semi-automated, and automated laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently. Collect, process, analyze, and report patient specimens according to established laboratory procedures. Review, verify, and release test results, recognizing abnormal, critical, or unusual findings and taking appropriate action

Requirements:

CLS Generalist. Must have blood bank experience. Current California CLS or MLS license. Must have TB clearance done within past 12 months.
