Job Description

Connected Health Care is seeking a full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a top-tier healthcare provider north of Chico, California. This role involves performing complex laboratory testing to contribute to patient care and requires a commitment to quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank. Analyze, interpret, and report accurate laboratory results in a timely manner. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment. Perform quality control procedures and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations. Troubleshoot equipment and testing inconsistencies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding lab results. Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related life science field. Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required. ASCP (MLS) Certification preferred. Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
