From $30.00/hour Job Overview My Care Labs is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a part-time evening position. The candidate will perform laboratory testing, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, validate test results, and follow established laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Beckman AU480 and Siemens EXL 200 analyzers, along with experience in laboratory validation, SOPs, and CLIA compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers. Perform testing and result validation according to laboratory procedures. Conduct equipment validation and routine operational checks. Troubleshoot instrument and testing issues. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation. Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and CLIA requirements. Perform quality control procedures and address abnormal or discrepant results. Maintain laboratory supplies and preventive maintenance records. Perform microscopy and other laboratory procedures as required. Report equipment or testing issues to the appropriate supervisor. Qualifications Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license or equivalent certification. Minimum 2 years of CLS experience preferred. Hands-on experience with Beckman AU480 and Siemens EXL 200 preferred/required. Experience with laboratory equipment calibration and validation. Knowledge of CLIA requirements and laboratory documentation. Strong laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and quality-control skills. Ability to work independently during the evening shift. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Schedule Part-time 4 days per week Approximately 25 hours per week Evening shift beginning at 3:00 PM Specific end time may vary based on the laboratory's operational requirements.
