Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) with excellent clinical skills to work in our Long Beach Central Health Center. Provide quality patient care including accessioning and processing specimens; approving, resulting and communicating results and lab findings. Maintain the laboratory at all times in CLIA compliance and within all licensing requirements. At PPLA, you will discover a culture of like-minded individuals who are eager to make positive contributions to their community and to the Planned Parenthood mission. \n Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate major Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (ASCP preferred) At least two (2) years of recent experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/ Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting Availability to work Saturdays as needed Capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance Follow safety and infection control practices Must pass any applicable agency qualifying exam(s) Open to working in Long Beach, CA About the position: Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors. Perform laboratory testing in compliance with PPLA policies, Federal and state licensing (CLIA and OSHA). Hiring Range:

$50-$65 per hour (Non-exempt) \n
