We offer a broad range of clinical and molecular laboratory testing and are committed to quality, fast turnaround, and strong service for the providers and patients we support. We're seeking a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) to join our Sacramento laboratory on a part-time basis. Position Summary The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs and reports high-complexity clinical laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory SOPs, CLIA requirements, and California state regulations. The CLS ensures accurate, timely, and reliable results while maintaining quality control and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Perform high-complexity clinical and molecular laboratory testing across the laboratory's test menu. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control, and quality assurance protocols. Review, verify, and report test results accurately and within expected turnaround times. Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting as required. Document and address quality control failures and corrective actions. Maintain compliance with

CLIA, CDPH, COLA

(or applicable accreditor), HIPAA, and laboratory safety standards. Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessment. Support accessioning and specimen-integrity processes as needed. Qualifications Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Generalist license issued by CDPH Laboratory Field Services (required). Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related science. Experience performing high-complexity testing; molecular and/or infectious disease testing experience a plus. Strong knowledge of CLIA and California laboratory regulations and quality standards. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently. Details Part-time position; schedule to be determined based on laboratory needs.
