In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of laboratory testing processes. This role is ideal for a skilled CLS who is ready to perform high‑complexity testing that directly supports patient care. You will support workflow coordination, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all testing areas. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands‑on role in testing. Position Summary The CLS performs complex laboratory testing, validates and troubleshoots instruments, oversees quality programs, and ensures compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and internal policies. Key Responsibilities High-Complexity Testing & Analysis Perform high‑complexity laboratory tests in Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Molecular Diagnostics (PCR, RT‑PCR, DNA sequencing) Independently analyze, interpret, and verify test results; prepare clear and accurate reports for physicians and healthcare providers Process specimens, pipette samples, load instruments, and release/approve results in accordance with laboratory protocols Support workflow planning, scheduling, and process optimization Maintain effective communication with section leads, office staff, and other departments Conduct QC/QA procedures, review QC records, and perform corrective actions for omissions or out‑of‑range results Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and analyzers Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and internal safety standards Participate in assay development, validation of new tests, and optimization of existing protocols Maintain accurate documentation for quality control, equipment logs, and regulatory compliance Required Qualifications Minimum 1 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Hematology or related field (or equivalent experience) Bench work is required Active California CLS License (Required) Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and electronic health records Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Must be able to work on‑site in
