A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Under minimal supervision assists laboratory manager/supervisor/coordinator in overseeing and directing workflow within budgetary goals. Establish work priorities organizes and assigns work to obtain quality patient care outcomes. Performs complex routine and/or non-routine testing procedures and regularly checks validity and accuracy of test results.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration: Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program. B. Experience (or equivalent education): Required for consideration: Two years of related experience. C.Licensure Required for consideration:
