A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description
UF Health is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our freestanding emergency lab in Gainesville, FL. In this full-time variable shift role, you will perform routine and complex testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and blood bank to support rapid, accurate diagnosis and treatment. You will operate and maintain analyzers, ensure rigorous quality control, and document results in our LIS.
