Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career by utilizing your expertise as a Medical Technologist in a dynamic generalist role. This contract opportunity is tailored for skilled professionals who possess broad experience across the laboratory spectrum and can confidently perform in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy working primarily full-time days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with an emphasis on weekend shifts, for an initial 8-week duration with a strong chance of extension. Please note that candidates residing in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach Counties are not eligible for consideration.
Qualifications:
ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required Current Florida State laboratory license College diploma or official transcripts Minimum requirement: Medical Technologist (MT); MLT will not be considered Demonstrated generalist laboratory skills and experience across multiple disciplines Ability to thrive independently in a high-volume clinical environment
Schedule:
Full-time, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Primarily weekend coverage
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diverse testing procedures as a laboratory generalist, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, and microbiology Verify and report results efficiently and in accordance with laboratory protocols Maintain rigorous standards for accuracy and quality control Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines Communicate professionally with clinical team members to ensure optimal patient care
