A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

    • , you will perform advanced laboratory testing while supporting team development, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
    • Key responsibilities include:
    • + Performing advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures + Preparing reagents and reporting results according to established policies and procedures + Conducting moderate to high complexity laboratory testing + Maintaining laboratory systems and ensuring operational efficiency + Assisting with training and orientation of testing personnel + Evaluating staff competencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives + Promoting accuracy, compliance, and high-quality laboratory standards + Performing other duties as assigned •Qualifications•Education•
    Required:
    • + Associate's degree in Medical Technology
    • OR•a related field •
    Preferred:
    • + Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Experience
    • Required:
    • + 2 Years of Clinical laboratory experience
    • Licensure / Certification
    • Required:
    • + State of Florida
    • Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
