Optional Pay range: $45 - $52/ hr Important Notes Medical Technologists (MT) and Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) ONLY. Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will NOT be considered. No local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Scientist) to join its Clinical Laboratory team for a 13-week travel assignment. The Medical Technologist will perform complex laboratory testing on patient specimens, analyze and verify test results, maintain laboratory instrumentation, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Candidates must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment while providing accurate and timely diagnostic information to support patient care. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex laboratory testing on blood, urine, body fluids, and other patient specimens. Analyze, interpret, and verify laboratory test results. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures. Follow laboratory safety protocols and infection control standards. Document laboratory findings accurately in accordance with hospital policies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding laboratory results. Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and hospital regulatory standards. Assist with specimen processing and ensure specimen integrity. Minimum Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist experience within the specialty. Current certification from one of the following:
ASCP/ NCA/ AMT/ AAB/HHS
Experience performing clinical laboratory specimen testing and analysis. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Prior travel assignment experience.

$45.00 - $52.00 per hour
