Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract A dynamic contract opportunity is available for experienced professionals skilled as Medical Technologists, with generalist experience highly desired. This 13-week position offers a weekend schedule, with shifts consisting of three 12-hour days per week. If you excel in laboratory analysis and are ready to contribute your expertise in a busy clinical environment, this role could be an excellent fit.
Schedule:
13-week engagement 3x12 hour shifts per week Weekend days required
Qualifications:
MT certification required Proven experience as a Medical Technologist (Generalist preferred) In-depth knowledge of laboratory processes, instrumentation, and safety protocols Ability to perform consistently in high-volume lab settings Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Conduct a full range of laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology Maintain equipment, ensure quality control, and follow all relevant standards for safety and accuracy Record and interpret results, reporting critical values promptly Troubleshoot routine instrument problems and escalate as appropriate Maintain effective communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Support departmental goals and ensure compliance with all regulations This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills in a supportive environment alongside dedicated laboratory professionals.
