Job Overview An ideal candidate will have MLT/MT experience, familiarity with Vitros analyzers, strong laboratory testing and quality-control skills, and the ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments while maintaining accurate documentation and patient-result confidentiality. Duties Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing for diagnosis and treatment. Perform quality-control testing and evaluate QC results. Identify inconsistent test results and take appropriate corrective action. Report critical laboratory values promptly to physicians or nurses. Maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports. Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Document instrument checks, maintenance, problems, and corrective actions. Perform specimen collection and processing as needed. Maintain laboratory supplies, files, and work areas. Assist with inventory control, supply requisitions, and quality-assurance activities. Participate in staff meetings, training, and departmental activities. Follow laboratory, hospital, safety, and confidentiality policies. Participate in routine section leadership responsibilities as assigned. Work effectively with minimal supervision and remain dependable in a fast-paced hospital environment. Position Requirements Associate Degree in Medical Technology required. Must have experience with Vitros instrumentation. ASCP certification or an equivalent nationally recognized Medical Technology certification required within one year of hire. Strong mathematical, reasoning, and language skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.

Minimum experience:

Less than 1 year accepted. Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire.

Pay:

$1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week
