A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

- SUMMARY
AND PURPOSE
- Performs tests related to the diagnosis and treatment of patient by utilizing various medical laboratory procedures in the Clinical Laboratory.
REQUIREMENTS
- + Bachelor's Degree Required. + Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required or registry eligible and obtained within 1 year of hire date.
ANTICIPATED HOURS
- Ideal candidate will be flexible to cover PTO and shifts when colleagues are training which could be up to two shifts a week.
