A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description

IRL Medical Technologist — Southwestern Idaho near Pearl A nonprofit blood services organization is hiring a Medical Technologist for its Immunohematology Reference Laboratory. You'll perform antibody identification, antigen typing, compatibility testing, and problem-solving on complex serologic cases referred in from hospital clients. This is reference-level blood bank work, not routine transfusion service testing. MT, MLS, or CLS certification required. Schedule is 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities. There is some flexibility in how the schedule is built. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus may be available. Pay is based on your experience. EOE.
