Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career in laboratory medicine with this opportunity supporting a dedicated healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. This contract role is ideal for professionals with proven laboratory analysis skills and experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Recent experience working in a clinical laboratory setting Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures, instrumentation, and quality control Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate lab results Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative clinical team Valid licensure/certification as required by governing boards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing on patient specimens Analyze samples using both automated and manual techniques Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols Report and document test results in a timely and precise manner Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Collaborate with medical staff to provide critical diagnostic information Address specimen integrity issues and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary Support departmental compliance with current industry standards and regulations
