The Medical Technologist performs a variety of Laboratory tests, many of which are complex, involving numerous steps and techniques and requiring the use of professional judgment. Professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of medical technology are used to produce consistently reliable test results which aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Preferred applicant is someone who has a B.S. degree, ASCP certified or equivalent with at least one year of hospital experience and preferably with a strong background in transfusion medicine, hematology and phlebotomy.

Job Requirements :

• ASCP or equivalent is preferred
• Certified Medical Technologist preferred
