Location:
Rockford, IL 61104 Job Description We are seeking an experienced Sleep Technologist to join a leading sleep disorders clinic in Rockford, Illinois . This is a 13-week travel assignment for a dedicated professional with expertise in performing comprehensive sleep studies and delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting overnight polysomnography, monitoring patients during sleep studies, and ensuring accurate data collection for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The Sleep Technologist will prepare patients for sleep studies, apply and monitor EEG and other physiological sensors, troubleshoot equipment during testing, and document findings accurately. Candidates should have a strong understanding of EEG, anatomy and physiology , and be proficient in using Epic EMR and NATUS sleep diagnostic systems. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience Required Minimum 1 year of experience in sleep disorder diagnostics . Experience performing overnight polysomnography and sleep studies. Experience with Epic EMR and NATUS systems is required. Knowledge of EEGs, anatomy, and physiology . Certification Required Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification (required).
