Rotating Shifts Hours:

40 Hours/Week We are seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist for a travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Urbana, IL. Job Responsibilities Perform comprehensive sleep studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnography. Prepare patients and equipment for in-center sleep studies and Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) . Perform PAP interface fitting, desensitization, and patient education . Monitor and document patient behavior, sleep activity, respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, and arousals. Perform equipment and physiologic calibrations to ensure accurate, artifact-free recordings. Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events according to accepted professional guidelines. Perform and support MSLT and MWT procedures. Perform ancillary testing, including oximetry and actigraphy . Analyze physiologic data and behavioral observations to support accurate interpretation and reporting. Maintain infection control, equipment cleaning, and quality-control standards. Provide age-specific care and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Maintain accurate patient documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Minimum 1 year of Sleep Lab experience

• Required . Associate Degree in Polysomnographic Technology or completion of a Polysomnographic Technology certificate program
• Required . Current RPSGT, RST, or ABSM credential
• Required . BLS certification through AHA
• Required .

Proficiency in sleep/wake scoring, clinical event identification, PAP therapy, HSAT, and sleep study preparation . Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
