ASCP/AMT

Certified Lab Technologist needed for a 2-week assignment in or near Bloomington, Indiana. The role involves performing accurate laboratory testing, maintaining instruments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, be ASCP or AMT certified, and have at least one year of hospital lab experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate laboratory testing and analysis on patient samples according to hospital protocols. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning. Document all test results precisely and report findings to medical staff in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field ASCP or AMT certification Minimum 1 year laboratory experience or recent graduate with relevant internships/clinical experience Experience working in a hospital laboratory setting Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols Ability to work night shifts (3-12 schedule) Strong attention to detail Analytical skills Effective communication skills Ability to work independently
