Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) to join our team. As an MLT, you will play a crucial role in assisting with laboratory procedures and conducting various tests and analyses. This position in based in Hays, KS.

Duties:

• Perform moderate complexity and high complexity lab testing.
• Collect and analyze patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens
• Conduct venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures
• Prepare samples for testing and ensure proper labeling and documentation
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of test results
• Record and manage data using laboratory information systems

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• MLT certification or eligibility for certification
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
• Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and specimen collection techniques
• Familiarity with data management systems used in laboratory settings
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
