Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Medical Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about laboratory science and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
40 hours per week Rotating shifts: 7:00-15:30 and 12:00-20:30 Every other weekend required No floating between departments
Qualifications:
Current ASCP certification is required Experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting Strong understanding of laboratory testing, protocols, and safety standards Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment efficiently Solid analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, interpreting and reporting results accurately Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and regulatory requirements Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as needed Ensure accurate documentation of all test results and quality assurance activities Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment Adhere to infection control and laboratory safety protocols at all times
