Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your laboratory career by joining a dynamic healthcare environment where precise results and quality patient care matter. Utilize your expertise in laboratory technology and contribute to essential diagnostic services on the afternoon shift.
Schedule:
Afternoon shift: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (or in a related role) Experience operating Beckman Coulter analyzers, with AU system experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Solid understanding of laboratory safety standards and procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established protocols Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, with a focus on Beckman Coulter equipment Accurately document test results, recognizing and troubleshooting anomalies as needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test interpretation and timely result delivery Adhere to all regulatory and institutional guidelines to maintain laboratory accreditation standards Support inventory management and supply ordering to ensure smooth laboratory operations
