A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

- Performs analyses to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients.
- Individuals hired to this position are required to complete 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.

extension program. Qualifications- This position is only open to individuals who currently work as a Contractor in the Clinical Mass Spec Lab
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science is required.
