A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Technologist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Medical Technology program or a bachelor's degree in chemical or biological sciences, required Completion of clinical training through an accredited Medical Technology program, required Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferred, especially within a medical group environment Applies to technologists with fewer than three (3) years of generalist experience Includes all part-time technologists
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 7:00PM, 4 10 hour shifts
