A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.
Process specimens, perform tests, report results, calibrate equipment, and assist the Clinical Laboratory Manager in determining the accuracy and utility of new tests and procedures.
Requirements:
B.S. in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science that meets the academic requirements of the ASCP Board Registry. Must be certified by ASCP or equivalent. If not currently board certified, must be certified within one year of hire. Licensure is optional in the State of New Hampshire. The anticipated hourly range for this position is $33.77/hr - $42.22/hr - $45.59/hr . Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
