Medical Laboratory Technologist - Evening Shift Full-Time | 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM Join Our Growing Clinical Laboratory Team Our growing private clinical laboratory is seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team for the 5:00 PM-1:00 AM evening shift . This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional who enjoys a hands-on clinical environment, takes pride in producing accurate patient results, and can work independently while supporting the laboratory team. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing on patient specimens with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Perform testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Differential Counts, Urinalysis/Microscopy, Coagulation, and infectious disease testing , including Flu A/B and RSV. Operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory analyzers. Perform and document quality control procedures in accordance with laboratory policies and regulatory requirements. Review test results for accuracy and identify and resolve testing or specimen-related issues. Enter and maintain accurate patient and test information using the laboratory information system (LIMS). Provide guidance and oversight to Laboratory Aides/Assistants and ensure assigned tasks are performed appropriately. Maintain adequate laboratory supplies and ensure equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and functioning properly. Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with laboratory and healthcare team members regarding specimen, testing, and result-related issues. Participate in laboratory quality improvement and other operational activities. Possible weekend rotation if needed. We currently have a Saturday coverage employee. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field . Current Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred. Clinical laboratory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Chemistry, Hematology, Differential Counts, Urinalysis/Microscopy, Coagulation, and infectious disease testing . Experience with laboratory analyzers, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control. Familiarity with LIMS and laboratory documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical laboratory practices. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate patient results. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and function effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Able to work and manage evening shift with Laboratory Aid. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Why Join Us?
