A Clinical Laboratory Scientist analyzes samples of body fluids, tissues, and other substances for diagnostic and research purposes within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility. Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Weekends NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is the singular source of care and caring for the 750,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street.

The part-time position will rotate coverage between Chemistry and Hematology, Blood Bank and also assisting to provide coverage for Microbiology testing, as needed. This is a

position. This is a TEMPORARY, p art-time position, working every Saturday and Sunday, 4pm-12am with rotating holidays. Preferred Criteria ASCP certification Required Criteria A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department If pending a clinical laboratory technologist license
