Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career as a skilled laboratory professional in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Medical Technologists (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) seeking to leverage their expertise as generalists. Three positions are currently available to support a busy laboratory team.
Schedule/Hours:
One position is available for Day Shift Two positions are available for
Night Shift Key Qualifications:
Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Experience working as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting Must provide proof of Covid vaccination Residency required to be more than 50 miles from the facility Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety in all laboratory operations
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and analyses across all major disciplines Perform quality control procedures and routine equipment maintenance Accurately document and report laboratory results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment Adhere to established protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care Participate in continuing education and stay current with evolving laboratory best practices
