Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled carpenter to assemble stairs in a manufacturing setting. To be an employee at S.R. Sloan, Inc. you must be a hardworking and a reliable person that is willing to show up every day with a good work ethic and attitude. Your job duties will include cutting parts using radial arm saws, table saws, routing stringers using a CNC router, and other carpentry equipment, along with building the stairs in an assembly device. This position does not require prior experience in building stairs but some carpentry experience in similar finish carpentry fields is beneficial. Requirements Some experience in finish carpentry High School education or GED Physically capable of handling 2x4 to 2x10 lumber up to 16' long Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th Ability to swing a hammer all day Great attention to detail Ability to work at a fast pace Capability to get here on time, everyday Communicating with a team Hours Monday through Friday 6AM to 3:30PM and sometimes 5PM during OT S.R.
