1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist with RPSGT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift assignment. Details Hospital and independent lab setting 4x10 night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM Patient ratio of 2 patients to 1 technologist with 2 assistants Utilizes Natus Sleep Works equipment No weekend, on-call, holiday, or floating requirements Comfortable working with pediatric patients ages 2 and up Performs titration studies including ASV, BiPAP, CPAP, VPAP, and oxygen administration Conducts Adult MSLT, baseline PSG, and home sleep testing Trainer on-site during Inspire studies unless technologist is an Inspire super user Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience required; 3+ years preferred RPSGT license required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required Charting system experience required Experience with mask fitting including full face, nasal mask, and nasal pillow Experience with monitoring cardiac abnormalities, ECG, EEG, end-tidal CO2, O2 saturation, PLM, and RIP Experience with staging and scoring including arousal, hypopnea, Cheyne-Stokes, and respiratory events Strong infection control and patient education skills US citizenship required Additional Information Scrubs of any color permitted First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for the travel rate
