Responsibilities:
Technical Skills/Knowledge Provides technical leadership and expertise. Maintains quality control, calibration functions and correlations. Coordinates, plans, organizes and monitors the work of the department. Ensures all competencies and training are completed. Under the direction of manager or supervisors works on special projects. Performs inventory control functions. Consistently completes testing within established time frames. Recognize and address issues within the department.
Qualifications:
Education Associate's degree with MLT (ASCP/AMT), HT (ASCP/AMT), or the equivalent in education and clinical lab experience OR a Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent or eligible. Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988. Experience 3 years of experience as
MT/MLS/CLS/HTL
; or 5 years as MLT/HT (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC Registered or eligible for registry as MLT or HT, or MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent Compensation/Benefits $28.95-$47.28/hr depending on previous work experience.
