Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Primarily Evening shift with weekend rotation; 5 - 8 hr shifts per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technologist to join our healthcare team in State College, PA 16801. This is a 13-week assignment with guaranteed full-time hours. Ideal candidates will have experience providing high-quality care in a long-term care or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of supervisors is directly responsible for the prompt and accurate performance of work assigned. Performs analyses on blood and other body fluids for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Maintains proficiency to work in all clinical departments of the laboratory.

Requirements:

Certified MT with ASCP, AMT, NCCLS or equivalent certification
