This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray, Ekg, and sonography, to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to perform imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. This paid position is ideal for motivated radiologic technologists eager to expand their skills in emergency medicine environments and trauma centers. Duties Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, EKG, Ultrasounds, and Labs Assist in urgent care and emergency room settings by providing rapid imaging support during critical situations. Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and comfort while maintaining strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections. Collaborate with physicians to evaluate diagnostic images for quality and accuracy, supporting diagnostic evaluation processes. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including technical data and patient information, adhering to confidentiality policies. Operate advanced imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety guidelines and optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis. Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging modalities such as Xrays, Ekg, and ultrasound to enhance service delivery. Skills Extensive knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Proven experience in emergency medicine environments including Level I Trauma Centers and Level II trauma centers. Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation. Skilled in diagnostic radiology techniques with a focus on diagnostic evaluation accuracy. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, PET scanners, mammography units, DEXA scanners, ultrasound devices for sonography, and related systems. Excellent aseptic technique practices to ensure patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures. Familiarity with emergency room protocols and urgent care workflows for rapid response imaging needs. Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols for protecting patients and staff during radiological procedures.
