Position Overview City Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our orthopedic outpatient practice located in McAllen, Texas. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to support patients in their journey towards recovery and improved mobility. About the Organization At City Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on being a patient-centered private practice focused on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and includes advanced sports medicine equipment tailored for orthopedic care. Our commitment to providing exceptional service is supported by a team of professional staff members, including two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our practice primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized care without the constraints of volume-based treatments. Work Environment The work setting at City Physical Therapy is onsite, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. This structure ensures that our team collaborates closely, allowing for seamless communication and synergy among healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to foster a supportive atmosphere where therapists can thrive and patients feel at ease during their rehabilitation journey. Key Responsibilities Effectively assess and identify patients' individual goals and needs to create tailored treatment plans. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated, focused, and personalized care. Administer cost-effective physical therapy treatments aimed at enhancing the range of motion and mobility. Utilize evidence-based methods to reduce patient reliance on medications, promoting alternative, non-invasive solutions. Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of treatment techniques to address diverse patient challenges. Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs that are specifically catered to individual patient goals. Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process, encouraging their engagement and commitment to recovery. Promote lifestyle modifications that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Maintain collaborative communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment outcomes, ensuring clear documentation of care services provided. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. Our commitment to individualized care means adapting treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and needs of each patient, focusing on their specific rehabilitation goals and improving their overall quality of life. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring a high level of clinical knowledge and practical skills. A valid Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential, along with a professional record that demonstrates ethical practice and no disciplinary actions. Preferred Experience Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and application. Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs. Experience utilizing WebPT or other Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems effectively in patient management. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
