Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Clinical Laboratory Scientist:
The
MT/MLT/CLS
must analyzes blood and body fluids as a diagnostic aid to the physicians by producing accurate and precise test results. Must be able to follow policies and procedures. Must document and log controls, calibrations and troubleshooting efforts. Must be able to critically think and problem solve. Required to prioritize and multitask. This position may also have the responsibility of train new employees, as needed. The technologist must be able to accurately enter test results into the LIS and communicate effectively throughout the clinic. Must be able to assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ideal Candidate
