Austin Diagnostic Clinic (ADC), a physician-owned multispecialty group in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist to support our outpatient imaging services. In this on-site role, you will perform limited-scope radiographic exams, prepare and position patients, follow radiation safety and ALARA standards, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and care teams, document in the EMR, and help maintain efficient patient flow. Responsibilities Perform limited radiographic exams in accordance with Texas LMRT scope and ADC protocols Prepare patients, verify identity, and explain imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort Operate and maintain radiologic equipment; monitor image quality and retake as needed Follow radiation safety standards, proper shielding, and ALARA principles at all times Accurately document procedures in the EMR and maintain organized imaging records Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care Screen for contraindications, review basic patient histories, and verify orders prior to imaging Maintain exam rooms and imaging areas in clean, stocked, and compliant condition Assist with patient flow, scheduling support, and occasional front- or back-office tasks Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and process-improvement efforts Required Skills Limited-scope radiographic imaging Operation of radiology equipment Radiation safety and ALARA compliance Patient positioning and immobilization Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation PACS and digital imaging workflows Infection prevention and control Basic anatomy and radiographic landmarks Clinical communication and teamwork Time management in a high-volume clinic
