Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. Looks for bacteria, parasites, and other microorganisms, tests for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment.

Job Description

I'm hiring for a Medical Technologist in Virginia! The Medical Technologist follows standardized procedures and prepares patient samples for testing; collects and analyzes bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities, including blood samples for transfusions; operates laboratory equipment safely and effectively; analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits; reports and documents findings according to organizational standards; and performs automated testing using computerized instruments and equipment.
