8/17 start date 7 consecutive 10-hour night shifts (2100-0700) followed by 7 consecutive days off; repeating every two weeks 70 hours total worked per two-week period Schedule spans from Friday to Thursday each rotation, concluding on

Thursday Qualifications:

Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist required Associates or Bachelors degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field Eligibility for certification by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent agency strongly preferred Demonstrated competence in performing and documenting laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology departments Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities Proven ability to work independently during overnight hours while collaborating with other healthcare team members

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct high-quality, accurate laboratory testing, processing specimens, and reporting critical results to clinical staff with urgency Maintain laboratory instruments according to protocols, including calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines (CAP, CLIA, OSHA) Support workflow by efficiently managing multiple test priorities throughout the shift Provide clear communication to multidisciplinary teams and facilitate continuity of patient care
