3002568705-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Medical Technologist to provide high-quality lab services across diverse healthcare settings. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, validate and report results, and ensure accuracy through strict quality control practices. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adapt quickly to new lab environments and equipment, and maintain compliance with CLIA and other regulations. Responsibilities Perform and verify diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and microbiology Ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, processing, and storage Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment Maintain and document quality control and quality assurance procedures Report and document test results accurately in the LIS and patient records Comply with CLIA, CAP, and facility policies, including safety and infection control Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to support patient care Adapt quickly to new lab environments, workflows, and facility protocols Participate in orientation and training at each new travel assignment site Communicate effectively with Fusion Medical Staffing and facility leadership Required Skills Clinical laboratory testing Hematology Chemistry analyzers Microbiology techniques Phlebotomy and specimen handling Quality control and assurance Laboratory information systems (LIS) Regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, JCAHO) Infection control Documentation and reporting
