Job Description

1.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Arkansas licensure as a Registered Nurse. Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred. 2.
Training and Classroom:
Three years clinical nursing experience. Previous experience in teaching desirable. Excellent verbal and written skills, with experience in public speaking. Successful completion of ACLS course with instructor status / instructor potential awaiting status. 3.
Job Knowledge:
Understanding of the principles of adult education. Clinical expertise in one or more nursing areas. Competent to instruct using sophisticated computerized simulation, instrumentation and tools of modern medicine. An ability and willingness to work with associate s growth and development needs across the life span providing educational programs specific to age of patients served. 4.

DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting with and maintaining records for all programs conducted by the Education Department. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in Patient Care, Associate Performance, and other areas as indicated. Must have dependable transportation in order to commute to all
UNITY HEALTH
sites. Flexible work hours are required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Supports the organization s Mission, Vision and Values.
