Educator, Labor & Delivery, Labor and Delivery, Women Services HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the interim Clinical Nurse Educator, Labor & Delivery and Postpartum at a 24-bed intensive care unit, a birthing center with 51 rooms, an intensive care unit for babies with 12 beds, and an emergency department with 60 treatment bays in California.

Schedule:

08:00 AM to 16:30 PM (hours may vary based on program/training) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for clinical education and training programs to meet the learning and developmental needs of the clinical staff. Designs, implements, and evaluates strategies to maintain clinical competency of care providers. Adult learning knowledge required. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and group facilitator process skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the California Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, Title 22, QA, BRN regulations.

Requi rements:

Education:

BSN required; MSN preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of L&D and Postpartum clinical educator experience Preferred experience: prefer a RN with at least 5-10 years of RN experience as well. That would be at least 3 years as an RN and 2 years as educator

License:

Active California RN license required

Certifications:

RNC-OB, RNC-MNN, or C-EFM and BLS through the

American Heart Association Computer Skills:

EMR experience (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car. Earn $2,000 for every candidate or position placement from your referral that HCT successfully places!
